The new website has just gone live. This is exciting stuff. It is still using the Zola framework but now it has moved from the hallo theme to the Juice theme. This theme seemed to fit as while we are offering services all of those services are going to be aligned into cloud marketplace products and so will fit easily into a product based theme.
As usual AI has been helping with the edits. I have mostly been using GitHub Copilot recently and with Visual Studio Code. While I really enjoy the Cursor editor I think Copilot has come along recently with increased context size and access to the o1 model. The editing is still not quite as fluid as in Cursor and I can even say that given this is the first blog post I am writing in VS Code even VIM is better with the Copilot autocomplete suggestions. This actually made me have a look at the settings and I found that the autocomlete was turned off for Markdown files. I have now turned it on and it is working much better.
Working on the website has really made me think about the company structure, how we are going to scale and how the company should operate. What are we trying to do and how should we say that to potential clients. What is our style. It is all coming together and I am really excited about the future.
The intention was to get the website published for the start of the New Year and while most of it is in draft mode and so hidden from public view I am happy with the progress. There is a lot more to come but this is a good foundation to start with and makes further development easier.
